Twin Lakes Fishing Assoc.

The last two weeks the Trout fishing has been very good at both lakes for the few guys that have been out. The Assoc. had stocked with mostly Rainbows altho I have gotten a couple of pretty palominos also. The bows were from approx. 12-20 " & very chunky & the browns are hitting now also, a friend of mine has been getting the browns on dry flies. Also we are picking some nice perch & bass now.Seems like the gills are going deeper now,but are hitting just before dusk. Just a reminder that the club membership badges are available at the boat house & would make nice stocking stuffers.   sam

The club stocks both lakes with trout & also puts tagged fish in both. Several "Fly-swatters)" that I know have been putting a real show on in the last couple of weeks.  sam

Sam..I have had a real bad time this last two weeks down there. One fish...one single bite.... in three visits and even that dropped the hook before landing..LOL! My freshwater fishing prowess is in rapid reversal!!!!...

I'm looking forward to pulling some of those trout out thru the ice. Haven't gotten any use out of my ice tackle over the past two winters. Hopefully this cold weather pattern sticks around.

patroller, When the boat house is open you can get a application there. We were at the lake this afternoon (top lake),it was pretty much froze over, but by 1-30 pm it was almost completely open & the wind had died. It was very nice fishing with only a few others fishing, we caught a few trout, bass & a few very pretty perch. All in all a nice day to be out, though it may be done for a while.  sam
