Slippery Rock University ponds

While I attended this college back in the late 80's early 90's - I never bothered to fish any of the ponds on campus.
I do recall catching small bluegills with mesh laundry bags there back in the early 80's  while attending wrestling camp there - but other than that - I can't say what kind (if any) other fish live in these ponds (had other fun things to do while in college).

That being said, does anybody know what they might hold? And are you even allowed to fish there? (what's the worst thing they can do - ask you to leave??) I've gotten grief over "lesser" infractions by the campus police back in the day !

They were pretty weed choked if memory serves me well.

Kind of thinking that maybe the lower, and largest of them might hold a giant carp or two......or three.....

Any info / thoughts are appreciated.

I have fished there. Caught a lot of largemouth. They are so small that you get bored quick.

We used to catch quite a few Largemouth in those ponds in the mid 80's. Some were rather impressive.

Just to clarify my response........the ponds were small....not the fish.

Ahhh, I see. Yeah, most of them are really small......even the largest, isn't all that big.

    Thanks for the clarification.
