VIRGIN RUN

Being as I work most weekends, dr. appointments,etc.etc.etc.----- had little time to get out until today.
Hit VR this afternoon. About 20 or so on the banks, 4 kayaks and one boat. So I launched my 14 ft. aluminum 
beast and headed to my favorite spot. Garlic powerbait and Corn powerbait were on the menu today.
(with mealworms and red worms in reserve).
At 3 minutes got my first.
At 8 minutes I doubled.
At 10 min. missed one.
At 13 min. got #4.
At 14 min. lost one.
At 33 minutes got #5...............UNBELIEVABLE.
My old record was 56 minutes I set last year.....CRUSHED IT.......LMAO
Upset several onlookers...SORRY...

    Gave up fishing that place years ago... guys come in way to close to the bank with boats. But there is a ton of fish there. Aside from the Yough I think it receives the 2nd most trout stockings in the whole county.

    I hear that man, I used to fish virgin run daily from shore before I bought a kayak. Guys troll 15 feet from you throwing the biggest bass bait ever made at your feet. The worst part is they do it with kids in the boat so the next generation thinks it's ok to do that.

    Is Virgin Run fishable? I heard that the **** is leaking, any truth to this?

    Pretty old post but yes it is fishable as long as your adhereing to state regulations. I caught quite a few trout through the ice there over the winter
