Big Sandy Creek

I was thinking about taking my boys to Big Sandy Creek for opening day, since we'll be in the area for the weekend.  I only fished it once with a friend and his father when I was younger.  Can anyone PM me with suggestions on good areas to fish with kids?  I appreciate it in advance.

    Anywhere on the creek will be good for trout. They stop stocking when it turns to private property close to the mouth of the river. I'd start at Polk.
