first cralwers of the year

I picked a couple of crawlers to-nite just because it is a ritual with me. Now for the first Robin sighting.BTW I am seeing a lot fewer birds of any kind at my feeder. Maybe it's the cheap Wal-mart feed?  sam

    Had a couple crawlers in my driveway this AM. Don't ever recall that in mid January before.

    Ditto on the lack of birds at the feeder. I don't even see them flying except for crows and doves.

    The toxic walmart bird feed from China is probably killing them all.  Peepers in January, I've never seen them this early.  But it's usually not 65.

    I had 20-30 robins a week or so ago. I have seen them here and there in the winter before but not like this.

    Birdies haven't found my feeder yet either but, I just filled it a week or week and a half ago.
