lake Arthur ice

was up the lake on the 31st, Seen a guy and son drilling a couple holes at the McDaniels docks. Looked to be about 4 inches. He also told us that people been fishing uo muddy Creek. Anybody fishing the Ice ??  Might try on the weekend

    Fished Lake Arthur (Muddy Creek bay) on Sat. 12/31 and Sun. 1/1.  The ice was 5" thick. On Sat there were at least 50 people fishing and Sun. a dozen and a half. Sat I set 5 tip-ups with shiners, had 10 flags and caught 4 bass 2 were legal.  On Sun. again I set 5 tip-ups and had 15 flags and caught 7 bass 2 were legal. With arctic weather coming back in on Thur. there should be safe ice on Sat. and we'll be there in Muddy Creek.

     No one on M/C arm a few min. ago. Watch out for Beaver Traps
