lake donegal meeting

don't forget, anyone that is interested in what is going on with the lake there is a public meeting being held by the PF&BC tonite at 6-30 pm at the Donegal comm.center. This is your chance to hear first hand what they are planning & to ask any questions that you  may have.    sam

There is some info on Donegal Lake on the fish commission web site if you check their fishing reports for the southwest region.  I think they are doing the fish salvage sometime around the third week of Oct.

Guess they are looking for volunteers to help with the fish salvage effort.  I think I might go up to help, should be interesting to see what kind of fish they get out of that lake.  Should be some nice largemouths.

Drove over to Donegal today and it might be 3 or 4 vertical feet into the draw down.  I would guess the fish transfer will be later than the fish commission is estimating.

I did not look but I think you should still be able to launch off the rocks at the main launch.

If I remember right those rocks run down a good way below the normal water line.
