Good fishing on the Mon

Timachro, Can you tell me if you can access the Mon. below the lock at Charleroi? Years ago I used to go through the glass plant property & fish the wall there. But it became unwise to leave your vehicle due to the scumbags lurking around. After losing a hubcap I quit going there. I don't know if you are allowed there or not now,but it was a terrific place to fish.  thanks  sam

Yes there is access to the lock on the Charleroi side. I park down river of the lock on a side street and walk the path up to the lock. I don't believe there is access at the glass plant any longer. I never had an issue down there.

I park at the park up river from the lock, then you can follow the fence line of the glass plant all the way down to the lock. It's a little bit of a walk but not bad.
