Lake Arthur spill?

Hit the lake yesterday. On the way back to the launch, I noticed a ton of small particles on the surface. They were not present where we were fishing. I just happened to notice, when shining my spot light. It looked like the size of bbs, millions of them floating on the surface. Seemed to be pretty thick in the section between 528 bridge and Neely's Point. Going to be a lot of kids in that lake this weekend, I really hope it was just some sort of tree that sheds some seeds or something nontoxic. I really hope not sewage or mining/drilling runoff. There was no smell to it, so doubt it was sewage.

Was pretty cool watching the Coopers Lake pyrotechnics laser light show rehearsal. I think that runs the next few nights, so beware of detours.

I noticed some pollen coming from pine trees on my truck the past few days. I'm sure it's something from mother nature.

Some form of tree sheading. Just planted 250 tomatoes plants and get tree fallout every year little white discs all over my black plastic. Same time every year.

    Big Tuna,
Black/choke cherry tree flowers are whats hitting your plastic. Had a ton of them blow into my pool from the neighbors yard.

Good, I was hoping it was something natural. No smell to it, so figured it wasn't anything to freak out about. My guess is pollen/tree shedding of some sort.

Wind was blowing the pedals () from the windrow of Black Cherries 50 feet to the south of my house, so bad, it looked like it was snowing.   Very lucky trees they are; they boarder the boundary of property lines and sit mostly on the neighbors side, else BTDT would have many cords of fire wood.

Although, until they sank, they did look kind of special floating atop my green pool water.

It is good news to hear, there was not any type of spill into the magnificent Lake Arthur.

Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a life time. ~Anne Isabella Thackeray Ritchie (1837–1919)~
