lake fishing near Gibsonia

I am looking for lakes or ponds near the Gibsonia area to fish.  I like to avoid places like North Park.  

What's wrong with North Park? I fish there all year and have no complaints. Great fishing for sunfish, crappie, largemouth, and bullheads. There's some pretty big carp in there too. That's the only public lake I know of around here but as stated above Pine Creek is good year round as well, always Trout, Bass, and Suckers to be caught!

  Just remember there is no boats/wading or fishing after dark at Oneida. Another under fished lake is the Glades Wildlife Lake just a bit north ov Oneida Lake & West Sunbury. It's non powered boats & the northern part is only open from June---> Aug. & wuz built in 1974. Harbor Acres lake is only a stone throw away. Deer Lakes ain't that far but prob. not your style if not in favor N.P. I'd fish Deer Crick & the river 90% ov time when I lived down that way.
 
 Up 1/2 mile from the new Hulton Bridge think Guys Run Rd. on Harmar side there is a large inlet from the river that has produced many nice fish over the yrs.

Porktown, the original spot mentioned for the lake in South Park was from Stoltz Road down thru Sleepy Hollow.( starting where the tennis club is now) The plan was to mine the coal underneath and then reclaim the area into a lake. Not sure why it didn't happen, but I'm sure South Park Township didn't want it back then- they were opposed to anything new

Would have been a nice size lake. Then I wouldn't have to put up with in-laws when we visited. They live right over the hill from Sleepy Hollow.
