Ice-out on Yellow Creek lake

Hi Folks,
I'm looking to do some ice-out pike fishing at Yellow creek lake. Thats gotta be pretty soon - anyone have any idea of the shore fishing conditions out there?

    Was there yesterday, about 40% or less covered in skim ice...plenty of open water on the north shore from what I could tell

    Munncie, I just talked to the guy that owns Riddles Bait shop(724-479-8169) & was told that the ice is mostly gone & that he got bait(shiners) in yesterday. His shop opens at 7am. good luck   sam

    Thanks Sam! I can use all the luck I can get....I lost my favorite spinnerbait to a tree this morning at the Allegheny river.    I'm looking to take a day off this week and take my dad fishing. It's been too long.

    Corner of Rt 259 and Campground Road. Campground Road leads to Grandma cove.
