Yellow Creek Lake

Anyone know what the ice is like on the main lake? Read reports that there is 8.5" but I'm guessing that's in the coves.

    I have read some reports also on other sites and what I saw was good in the coves but not much on the main lake. I wouldn't think it was safe, not by my standards anyhow. Possibly going there Sunday to try in the coves. Sorry I don't have better information for ya.
