11/8 SR report

Fished mid-river with my buddy.
Started late hoping that out-of-staters would clear out early.
No such luck as it had to be one of the most crowded Nov. Sundays ever!
Way more fisherman than fish.
Buddy never hooked up and I only hooked two when I finally got a shot at my honey hole.
Both on light blue beads and both came unpinned before touching shore.
Everyone was moving so we weren't the only ones struggling.
As this low water persists and no new fish entering the river, the fish that are in the river are very well educated and hard to trick. Even egg sacks aren't working so well any longer.

Anyone know a rain dance?

Gotta wonder if sacs aren't what they were for two reasons-
    One  --fewer fish
Two- few King beds producing the favored meal ( may be different way up in the upper zone)
Makes me wonder why Steel would even stay in the river and not go back to the lake--after all - don't they come in early just to  feed on King eggs???

I think those are very logical and valid points, RG. Hope you had a good time anyway, PE. Thanks for the report.
