Okay I am no plant expert. Why are there NO acorns on or under my oak trees this year???

Yes Last year there were tons, deer feeding everyday

What species of oak are they? The two most common species are reds and white. Red oaks only produce acorns every two years. Whites can produce every year, but they rarely produce heavily every year.

Tons last year usually mean few this year, just like apples. Look in the areas there were few or none last year. I have two permanent stands in oak I didn't even hunt this year.
