insult at twin lakes

This afternoon while I was sitting on my bucket catching Trout & Perch a young couple came walking by in the snow & the woman said to her partner, that guy must be nuts fishing in this weather. At the same time I am thinking that those people must be nuts walking in this weather.  lol  sam

Ha. I'd rather fish in weather like today than in 90 degree heat in summer. Fishing is considerably better this time of year normally too. Gotta love fall.

I would only assume that you were dressed properly, and able to stand out there all day with little discomfort.  Couple was likely freezing after 20 minute walk.  Now and the Spring can't be beat for catching.  I have no issues bundling up.  Although, I often wade until there is skim ice, and my feet will start feeling it after 3-4 hours wading in 34 degree water.  Hands can only take so much if using minnows too.

Actually,I though it was funny, almost as funny as when last week 2 guys that were fishing & watching me catch fish called over on their way out (hey Pap whatcha using) bad thing was that they looked to be in their 50's.  Well that is what I get for laughing at old people when I was young.  sam
