Four states — Virginia, Vermont, Arizona and Alaska — have already banned urine use.

Instead of banning it, why don't they localize urine collection farms around various spots in the country and regulate them with testing and inspections?

Wouldn't suprise me if they ban urine from other states and make deer farms in pa buy a permit from the pgc to sell their urine within the state.

I remember 'back in the day' when the green was about the color of their uniforms. A uniform that expressed what the PGC was all about. A uniform that was once highly respected by many.

Today, as we know, the green is all about the color of money.

The PGC has to generate new means of income; even if it means going as low as controlling the sale of deer pizz.

As for the excuse of curbing desease...... Yeah right!

Then again, wouldn't surprise me to see a deer pee ban just for 2G.

    A "ban on deer urine?"

But what if a deer really, really needs to pee?

The origin and mode of transmission of the prions causing CWD is unknown, but recent research indicates that prions can be excreted by deer and elk, and are transmitted by eating grass growing in contaminated soil.[6][7] Animals born in captivity and those born in the wild have been affected with the disease. Based on epidemiology, transmission of CWD is thought to be lateral (from animal to animal). Maternal transmission may occur, although it appears to be relatively unimportant in maintaining epidemics. An infected deer's saliva is able to spread the CWD prions.[8]

I just read that the State of Virginia has banned the use of natural deer urine to try to slow the spread of C.W.D. I think that it would be wise to try that as it seems to make sense to me,but there is too much money made from the sell of it for the legislators to pass that here. Remember that one of the reasons that we have to display our fishing license is because the owner of the business that makes the license holder went to his legislator & told him that he would have to close his plant & lay off his workers if they passed a law that eliminated the display of license. I guess it is about the Green after all.  sam
