This coming Sat. June 20th at 10am the Jacobs Creek Watershed Assoc. will hold a clean-up at the lake & can use some helpers. This is a good chance to give something back to a beautiful lake & only takes a couple of hours of your time. BTW I got & released a big beautiful Large Mouth Bass to-nite & wondered why there was so few people out on the 2nd day of Bass season until I got back to the truck & heard that there was a tornado watch for our area.  lol  sam

gills, A few years back, while I was fishing at Indian lake,it started to rain & while I did notice that everyone left I didn't know what was coming behind me. A small tornado came up & over the lake & crossed rt.30 & did a lot of damage on both sides of me. A little while later a lot of people came back to the lake & I didn't know til later what had happened. I called N.H. authorities to complain because right before the storm hit the police made a pass through & didn't warn anyone of what was coming. btw the Trout kept hitting throughout the storm.  lol   sam

yeah...that tornado went through about 1/2 mile from my house...started in Rillton right behind Indian Lake (near Hazuza's greenhouse) and stayed on the ground all the way to Hempfield High School and beyond.
It never crossed Rte. 30 though.  It did hop over the turnpike near Eiasman Road.
