No guess here other than every post in it other than his had a slam against him so they deemed it. Not worthy.  I do not know if a writer deletes a post if it all disappears...???

Well I tried and it seems a writer cannot delete once it is there......

Send him a pm and invite him fishing with you.  I kinda guess they found my humorous threat to punch him in the head offensive and violent . I'm not surprised it was deleted, though I didn't intend it to be. The whole thread was ludicrous in context. You've got way more class than the rest of us, or at least me,  2B. Chartist would agree, I'm sure.  For myself, I have little time enough on the river to waste it on those who dislike me and vice versa.

All true, 2B.  Except your memory, which seems fine.  Another trolling session semi-successfully accomplished.  Usually waits til fall. He took a pounding this time, and  didn't get quite the  big fun  he thought he would.  He'd be better off on Salmon Crazy. Then it would just appear as normal anonymous insults.  Here,  it's like cutting in the middle of a group of friends fishing on the river.

Which he has probably also done.  "I pay the big bucks, I don't care if you got here first.  And it is my spot when I come back from gracing the local establishments with my enlightened presence for beverage and nourishment, low life resident anglers ungrateful for the economic boon I bring from the cultural and financial center of the cosmos, Ohio."

I know the last thing I would do would be bait the locals and announce when I would be arriving there to go out drinking and driving and maybe fishing without buying a license.  You never know who has  county mounty or a state trooper or an Encon officer as a neighbor, friend, or brother!  Kind of hard to tell which idiot you are looking  for checking NY and NJ plates, but there are still not that many Ohio plates parked around the Altmar Hotel.  $500 and $1000 fines go a long way toward goosing the local economy, too.

Don't know if he is for real or just trying to pump up the talk here with a smirk while writing his posts BUT his  writings  seem to represent the overwhelming majority opinions of too many visitors to the SR.
In that regard his posts seem to bring out the harsh criticisms of those here who are mainly 10%ers on the river.
TwoBob is correct. We often say we try and educate a bit when fishing and it seems BOB is being civil and attempting just that.
It is an unfortunate harsh reality that too many feel they have paid to snag and that they  look down a bit at Country folks in this fiscally challenged area. It comes up here regularly.
Most here feel otherwise and this kinda- in your face- posting brings out strong opinions on the part of we regulars.
Face it--we see this kind of attitude every time we fish the SR-especially in the 'silly season'.
Congrats Bob for taking the 'high road'.

Don't know what or why but its no skin off my back it was removed. I think it was pretty useless and like the fact someone doesn't want things to go so deep into the ditch.
There is another site for ditch dwellers if they chose.

Sorry you feel the need not to partake in discussions 2b,
Your info, insight and conversation has always been welcomed by us

Ps, I also offered to fish with the tool in question if I was available
