unusual finds

This past week I had 2 unusual finds while fishing. The first was after coming home & cleaning a Trout for lunch I saw a bulge in its stomach & cut it open to find 2 cigarette filters in it. Although I have seen Trout hit them before they usually spit them out. The second occurred while fishing at Greenlick I thought that I had found an unearthed historical object that was valuable, although I did wonder about the shiny brass swivel on it.Turned out to be a smooth stone sinker that I had heard about but never saw before.  lol   sam

I don't smoke anymore, but when I did I carried a old metal band aid container and would put my butts in there. Better than throwing them in the water. Unless you're smoking unfiltered or roll your own, the filters won't biodegrate.

My fishing buddy uses his first pepsi bottle for an ash tray, so the butts all end up in the garbage at trip's end.  Littering is complete BS, and even worse BS if you litter somewhere you are enjoying a nature activity.  "What a pristine lake, let's crap it up with fishing line and cigarette butts!"  Most people should be drowned at birth, before they learn to be monsters from their a-hole parents.
