Cool encounter at irwin giant eagle today

Made a run to ge to pick up some grub for Mother's Day cookout and after running the cart back, look over to see capt bill from deadliest catch pull into the spot next to Me. Wished my boy was with me as he likes watching the show. Said hello as he got out of the car. Bill was Rollin' in a Benz...

    He was raised in Irwin, his mother still lives in the area he visits her a few times a year and makes his rounds... he actually texts my neighbor occasionally lol my dad actually graduated with him from norwin high school.. small world !

    He was Norwin class of '75....
     
    He was headed into the "beer" section of Giant Eagle.  Can't say I blame him.  A couple cold six packs on Sunday would would have been a great compliment to a Mother's day visit.  Too darn hot for mid-May.  Pool is open and kids were swimming already on Sat. and Sun....
     
    Capt. Bill is a pretty big dude, by the way.  That rented 5 series seemed a wee bit small for him.

    Holy crap. I grew up in a portion of seattle called ballard its where the ship canal is and where a majority of the capts from area store their boats. I had on more then one occasion phil and his boys come in ans basically buy out the grocrry store i worked and this waa 3 or 5 years before the show existed
