Doomsday Preppers.......?

I've heard of carp eggs sticking to the feet of ducks and geese. Not sure about other species. I've also seen baby blue gills way upstream on very small creeks that I'd never expect to see a blue gill in. Most ponds that I know of have a creek in and a creek out. That is certainly one way for fish to get in. The question that brings up in my mind is how do you know that nobody has ever dumped a bucket of fish in there at some point?

I always assumed the above as well, ducks geeses or inflow from a creek in high water conditions.
Also some ponds are stocked by people that just never tell anybody.

Well, the pond that I am talking about is on the property of a old man that was a friend of mine. He died many years ago but, we used to sit on his farm and talk about the life in general. I am young but always love to hear stories from older generations. Later in years, he put fish in but said after he built the pond, he noticed fish in there. He never allowed people on his property that he didn't know, and nobody really had a reason to. Later, he did allow people to bring fish and release them. His isn't the only one. I know of a couple others that they showed up in. Also, a small creek that I call a s**t creek near my house because of these old houses drains flow into them. I fished that creek when I was a kid and caught bluegills all the time in there. It does flow into the Yough so I guess they could come up during high water but, it was pretty far up stream. Also golf courses. I could see one pond on the course having someone dump some but there are some ponds deep inside golf courses with fish in them. Has just always puzzled me.
