huge crappie

I know that this isn't in our area in the southwest, but thought that someone else in our area might be interested. In the issue of Penna. Outdoor News that I got to-day there is a picture of a guy with a 19 1/2",3#,10 oz. black Crappie that he caught through the ice on Lake Ontelaunee.  Congrats. for sure.  sam

Always enjoy stories and other info related to the type of fish we catch here at home Crappy, thanks for brining it to light.

Subscribed to that same magazine, I have a charter member hat (eat you heart out sports fans), but I quit buying it more then six years ago. They started pushing the climate change/global warming issue and I figured I could get enough of that on the local level.  Must admit there was some very informative stories and advice published and I did enjoy the articles.  Keep this a secrete; I still read some of the older articles via the internet, what the heck I am (err was) a charter member (lol)

Ditto on the concrats. and thanks again, for tossing the story out there.

btdt, I get at least 9 mags. a month because I love to read,IMO this is the best out there as far as getting timely info. & the maps on the back can give you some good info on new places to try. I used to get the Texas edition when my son was stationed in the Marines there.  sam

I never seemed to have time to read the few magazines I would get.  They would build up on my library shelf (aka: toilet tank lid) til they toppled on the floor.  At which time I would receive warning of possible eviction from, the better half.

Have more time now that I retired but, with the laptop and internet it is all to easy to get stories and articles on line.  Although, some of the news may be a bit stale and/or obsolete.

Tell that Marine I said many thanks for his dedication to keeping America free.  My house is the log cabin flying the AMERICAN flag in the front yard 24/7 (well lit at night) because of people like your son keeping my @ss free to do so.
