How the reports I have read they are varied from good to fair.
The western end east to Rochester seems to be hitting a good mix of kings, cohos, with some browns, lakers and steel in the mix.  The same could be said for Oswego.  The eastern basin has been spotty with chickens saving the day.

From what I'm learning on this great lake curve is the western end is great in the spring for salmon. Not so much in east until a thermocline sets up.
Oswego area is always good to ok for browns throughout as close as you can get to Chernobyl .
Mexico bay- sandy pond is hot early for browns when there is a mud line from the rivers ( its gone now ) then slows as the fish scatter.

I'm getting itchy to ride the big lake although I much prefer anchored up listening to tunes instead of a 4.3 running all day. Time will come soon enough.
Got some ausable holdovers to chase first :)

Oh by no means am I saying its hot, but the persistent captains are getting a mixed bag. Like gerry said. One in particular hit all species today except steelhead... Tuna can't wait to catch up with the crew when you guys make the haul ;) bacon and egg breakfasts, chicken lunches and pig dinners may be in store ;)
