After months of trying I think that we are finally going to get that valve repaired at the lake. Supposedly the county will have a crew at the lake to start repairs on the valve. They were there yesterday & went under water to make drawings on how to repair the prob.,Mon. they are to start work, hopefully. We must thank Patty Miller & the Jacobs Creek watershed authority for their dedication to the natural resources of the area. These are all volunteers & I am proud to be a member.I will keep you posted as I get more info.  sam

Just curious, what's the problem? Seating problem with the gate, bent valve stem, missing stem guide?

Well, I went to the lake this afternoon to throw some plugs & to try to see if they did any work. I could not see anything that led me to think that they did. If any of you are interested in fishing there in the future it would pay you to look now that the lake is so low. It is surprising to see some of the drop-offs & to see some of the flats. There was 1 or 2 other guys that drove to the waters edge & launched a small boat or a canoe,I was too far away to see forsure, but I give them credit for doing so & hope that they had better luck than I did. From what I could see it looks like you can walk the shore line the whole way around the lake.If I hear anything, I will post.  sam
