While looking through the PF&BC web site I saw a picture of a 38 1/2" Northern Pike that was caught there recently on a top-water plug. Also they said that the fishing there has been excellent from shore or a boat. I have been fishing from shore quite a bit(3-5 times a week) since July & have not seen anyone doing very well, although we usually get a couple of bass. There has been very few people fishing anytime that we have been there. We normally fish from 5pm til dark while throwing lures.I have caught a couple of Walleye, but few & far between. I am not calling it a :dead sea: because I didn't catch much,I am saying that we didn't see or hear of many fish being caught. Hardly excellent fishing in my book. Also since the lake has been so low the past month it is almost impossible to launch a boat, other than a yak or a canoe I don't see how they claim it is good now from a boat. I would hate to see someone drag a boat there only to find out they can't launch it.Still no word from the Fayette Cnty. Parks on whether or not they are going to fix the prob. sam
