Haven't been up for a while. I was wondering how much the water has dropped.

It's higher than most years, post labor day, by 10-20 vertical feet.

I agree with what D-Nymph states.  I drove across the breast last Saturday and was surprised how high the water still was.  It's a lousy guess how far down but I would say maybe 20 foot total.  Probably about half of an average years drop by this date.

Currently 13.38' below summer pool. Forecast to be another 1.5' lower by Saturday

I'm judging the lake level by where my docks lay on the bank at labor day.  It's a lot higher than usual for September.  It drops below the summer pool elevation some years by early July, and is some years 30-40 feet below summer pool by mid September.  Either way, after Labor day, the Corps lets the dam rip, you better have your boat out or you may not have a full week before a boat hits dry ground, depending on your bank.  We took ours out last weekend.

That said, last weekend there was very little boat traffic, little to no mud line in mid afternoon, it's probably fishing great. Or, heh heh, as good as it fishes.
