Yep, they did a stealie face reel last year that quickly sold out.  Too rich for my blood considering the reel would be locked away in a safe until the day I died.  LOL

HT, I thought the reels were made by Abel.  http://www.abelreels.com/fly-reels-2/limited-edition-grateful-dead-reel.html

Forget the reels, my daughter had this cake made for my birthday a few years ago.

Yup your right. My memory sucks. Fish 307 had a Facebook give away a few months ago. Rob signed me up but I guess I wasn't the winner. I sure love the graphics of the good ole steel your face reel

I like nice stuff as much as the next guy, but I also do not need to have the best of the best especially if what I have works well and is affordable. I would be afraid to scratch it let alone use it.

The American made medalist I picked up two years ago at the Community Garage sale at the Public Market for 7 bucks is much more in line with the Chronic period dead- $5.50 to see the acoustic dead followed by the riders followed by the electric dead at SUNY Binghamton in 1970, nearly 6 hours of music!  Paid more for****s Pick's of the concert, but I can hear myself screaming "Thank you" at the end of the show.

Humm I'm quite sure I have that show archived , for free I must say. Will have to give it a listen and see if I can hear a crazy screaming hippie at the end . Lol

Hijack alert-the best of times were concerts in Central Park at the Wollman Skating Rink.  The Shaefer Musical Festival admission was $1.50/2.50 but you could hear the music just as well sitting outside on the rocks.
