mink dubbing fyi

just thought some of you tyers might want to know how the mink dubbing works out. first i'm not a saleman for SKIPS FUR TRADING COMP. here is what i experienced;
mink is a very fine dubbing material unlike muskrat. also it doesn't have the guard hairs as most furs do. if you're a traditionalist,rather tye flies with natural than synthetic, this may be the dubbing you might want to tye those midge and small dries. i also find using a small amount of dubbing wax helps using this fine fur. mink is also a little darker gray than muskrat.~dt
oh ya, a square foot will last me a life time and the hide itself is pretty fragile, tears somewhat easy, so the mink purse i was planning to make for my granddaughter is out of the question.
