Presque Isle Largemouth

After 2 dinks at Edinboro, I went up to P. I.  After 4 hrs. of standing with the usual "prevailing westerlies" in my face, I had managed 11 largemouth 15-21 in.  I have alot of confidence in the lure I used, but snagged and lost it.  I've tried before to i.d. it but no one replied.  Any help?  I think it was listed as a goby.  From the picture it might be difficult to see the light violet hue.  I'm sure the company would have a fancy name tor it but that's the best I can do. Thanks.

Don't recognize it, but there are good goby imitations you can obtain on the web.  We come up three or four times a year and overall the Poor Boy Goby on a football head jig has produced constently.  Will be there week of May 12th and hope the water temp warms up a few dgrees between now and then.

It looks an awful lot like my secret ice fishing super jig of doom. It's a crappie jig they sell at wally world. I assume that one is much larger if your catching large mouth.  Any fish head shaped jig with a gulp minnow should suffice. I actually started casting my own this year cause the hooks in the wally world ones are junk.
