Shores Beach Boat Launch

Making our annual trek to Presque Isle for smallies week of May 12th.  Usually launch at State Park Marina or East St.  Am looking for current condition of the boat launch facility at Shores Beach.  I know they had silt and erosion issues in past years.

    Do you mean Shades Beach?  If you do, I wouldn't take a risk with a larger boat drive the extra 10 miles to North East.

    I did mean Shades Beach and thank you for the reply.  Will be bringing 18' Bass Cat/150 'rude.  With the water temp being about two weeks behind, sounds like the staying around Presque Isle is best bet right now.

    Lampe marina would be good for you as well if you're sticking around P.I.
