Arthur under the dam
fishing this week revealed a disturbing site. Back to fishing under the dam in the creek. On my way in I found a couple guys carrying A few fish out One being a musky about 30 inches and a couple bass. As they were walking by Of Course I had to say something in disgust and not a very friendly comment. Almost had to make a BAD DAY for those schmucks !!! Now what in the heck would somebody take a 30 inch musky ??? I doubt very highly it would make the musky would make good table fare. If I aint mistaking this is not the first time I have seen this kinda foolishness and brought up on here. And a current member was a culprit that had posted a pic of a musky he KILLED from that creek also ( Yeah you know who are a 40 some inch fish IS NOT A TROPHY ) !! Killing fish just to kill is blanked up. Ok enough for the rant LOL Have a nice day

Muskies hafta be 40 inches don't they? But "about 30 inches" could be closer to 40 I suppose when you're walking past somebody

yeah...my mistake about the 30" muskie. ..but you did mention a 40 plus as well by someone else....

Yeah r I was within 5 feet And at that range I'm pretty sure I can tell the difference be 30 and 40 inches. yes and yes Anatikus there surely is LOL didn't even get a bump yesterday

How is the lake looking? Any open water yet? Guessing the cold front coming through isn't helping open anything up.

It had over 12 inches on last Friday. Don't think they will be any open water while. Not sure it is doing up right, But it has been pouring for the few hours here. Which could knock it down a bit. Wish it was open I suck at ice fishing LOL

Hopefully open by early April...
I think by early April there should be at least some open water to do some wading, at least I am hoping. This long winter is frustrating.

I might be heading below the dam myself if there isn't any wading room on the lake portion. There might be 50 of us crowded in there in a few weeks. Or we could just head to HPD!
