open water monday.

3 of us are thinking of getting away from this big snow coming and heading up to erie tonite. I keep checking the cam at uncle johns and there is some water open there. Is there any water open anywhere els ?

    Creeks have some open water but that's not the only problem.
    Due to temps it will be steady slush flow very tough to get your lines down to the fish.I would wait for warmer weather this winters got be over soon right.....

    bring some ice gear and catch stekheads that way.  I drove past the tribe friday-the first of a few single digit days-i wouldn't fish em right now.

    We are headed up late tonite. Got the noodle rods and ice gear packed. Gonna give it a shot.
