I've always loved how when you hold browns like that, all their spots settle into one big spot on the tail. Especially tasty on a cast iron skillet with some of Chef Paul's Brown Trout Magic 
I live with fear every day, and sometimes she lets me go fishing.

 We're cheap and use Tony Chacere's Brown Trout seasoning! Actually have some fillets thawing tonight for dinner tomorrow. Gonna smoke up the house with that skillet and all that butter!

Enjoy! We were down in Charleston visiting my folks a few weeks ago and caught a bunch of browns like those, but they were all tagged. So instead of keeping them, we recorded the tag info and sent it into the DNR. No dinner, but at least we get a t-shirt out of the deal.
I live with fear every day, and sometimes she lets me go fishing.

There are trophy browns in an undisclosed tail race in central pa you don't need to go to Erie.

Stay out of the LO tribs then, when the samens are done they are all over the place until the water goes up and flushes them back to the lake. Just not so many comedians on some of the tribs!
