37" walleye near green island - real or hoax?

confirmed or unconfirmed?
 
according to the post it was caught within the last day or so (not sure if it's a recycled pic)?

    Hoax.....the guide who caught it says it wasn't that big....

    Whatever the size, darned impressive. The bay of Quinte, (lake Ontario) gives up walleyes comparable to the one pictured every winter. Netted a 14lb 7oz for a friend fishing with me on a fall trip to Quinte about 12 years ago.

    I think I read somewhere the one mentioned was around 12lb.  Still a heck of a trophy. My hands would be shaking for the whole week after handling that fish lol.
     
    Ive read about and watched some videos from Bay of Quinte in the winter....breaking ice to launch boats....planers boards hitting skim ice lol It looks pretty intense.  That is one of the places on my bucket list!
