Im looking for property in Erie area

My father and I have a camp in Camp Eriez but want to get our own little lot. They started shutting the electric off this winter and we like to use it alot for steelhead. Also the rates continue to increase every few years. We would like to get something even an acre or less in a bit of a wooded or farm area. We would like to put the trailer and eventually build a small lodge. Does anyone know of anything like this that someone may be selling? Please PM me any information. I appreciate your assistance!

You're best bet is to go to a realtor site like www.realtor.com, and search for "Erie, PA" with a property type of "land".  There are lots all over the place around Erie, just change your price range to what you can afford and enter in how many miles away from Erie you're willing to go out.

Condemned houses in the ghetto parts of the city are dirt cheap. You guys could smoke steelhead in your yard while everyone else is smoking crack and meth.

Seriously though, do you have a preference to East or West side? My buddy in town works for Remax, I can PM you his contact info if you'd like.

Lol! It would be like COPS in my front yard. Definetely west. I can snag twice as many steelhead in the dorsal out west. Fish Ohio alot so prefer West side. Thanks!

    FSBO.com or even craigslist.
But, as a buyer, no real downside to using a realtor unless they shy away from the FSBO type properties.

Check the west springfield area. It's a lot more rustic than fairview or girard(almost hillbilly-esque in some places)  I know there are a few nice little lots, some with with abandoned /condemned buildings. I remember one that caught my eye had a little tiny old church(pretty bad shape) on it. This was last year and I don't remember what road it was. I know it was north of I-90 though.
