Chartiers Creek

Finally got out to do some fishin Sat (and drinkin with friends) Smallmouth are everywhere which I was concerned about considering the flooding we had a few months back. Slow bite in the pools but bigger fish than the headwaters of pools. Typical hungry little guys inhabit the head of a pool but the big fellows are hunkered down in the deeper slower sections eating what they can when they want....numerous casts to one specific spot over a two hour period yielded the biggest fish, 16" and slim, just like a typical whopper in this water this time of year. Real nice and relaxing fishing all day without another soul around....sure was fun as opposed to fishing erie streams for erie fish that are supposedly for erie residents only or those in the know when the whole state helped pay for em....

hook a creek chub through the lips and let him swim....#6 Gamakatsu with a small split shot 18"-24" up...6lb test clear...

A true fishing bonanza without the "those are our fish" attitude...there is no attitude....there's nobody there.

Considering how many posts you have I guess this is YOUR gym. Good observation on thread posts I guess you got my point. Im not hard to find in person but my guess is you are. Ask Jesus if he would hide behind someone else

I have absolutely no respect for anyone who cant say what they want to say under one name. Ask my local Democratic representative Jesse White how that's workin for him

I work out three times a day...whenever I eat I do a lot of heavy lifting.
Are u threatening me on the internet because I called your bs not so hidden agenda posts??!!!
I've posted pics of myself on here with fish before. Actually just yesterday I invited anyone up in Erie to come fish with me and gave a description of how to identify me. I don't hide behind anything or anyone, i call em like I see em.
If you're going to put out posts like that, expect to get some flack for it.
And since I've been around this forum since 06, yeah the posts are gonna pile up. I've met some really quality people here and like talking fishing. So when u label those "locals" with totally inaccurate stereotypes, someone is gonna say something.
And very classy bringing Jesus into it. Great strategy.
Bottom line, I'm glad u enjoyed your solitude in chartiers creek. If you dislike fishing in Erie that much, then don't fish there. But the fact that u brought it up multiple times in different ways shows me that ur trolling for some reactions. And I wasn't smart enough to leave u be. Lesson learned.

    hey! be nice guys..
ye ol chartiers creek... if you like chartiers you should try the beaver river.. a bit of a drive but you can fish that same style and there is a crazy variety of fish in there to catch (even more than chartiers)
