I'd have to guess that the gill blasting of the first fish, and the second one laying on muddy concrete might upset some of the more conservation minded members of these boards. Unless you kept em all... then all 3 upset them :)

I gave the first one to some kids that were fishing beside me (the one that took the pic).... And the second one was on wet shale, isn't keeping the fish wet supposed to help it keep it's protective slime?... The brown was out of the water for a grand total of about 10 seconds just to grab a pic. My hands were wet and no gill blasting? I don't see the problem? Fish 2 and 3 swam away breathing and healthy?... If you are going to b'tch, b'tch about snagging Russians. Not a kid that is letting healthy fish go, and giving fish to people that aren't catching anything. My God.

cool pics dude, I for one like seeing other peoples success on here. Fish12 crys about everything on EVERY thread, don't worry about him, you'll figure out who the d-bags are and who the decent guys are. No matter how you hold a fish, someone will find some fault in the way you held it. Anyhow I enjoyed your pics, especially that brown, I hope you post more. That's what I originally thought. I guess you people do that to show the size of the fish???? Never really understood that. If anything, it makes you seem less good of a fisherman since you're taking a pic of an average fish w/ the can trying to make it seem like it's some awesome/trophy catch or something  Just messin with ya. I got something that works even better than those pliers. They call it a gaffing hook.

I destroyed a couple of lower jaws on steelhead this summer using the same grips. Be careful using those if you plan to release the fish.
They are great for walleye though!
