Decent Places to Stay in Erie

I am looking into heading up this weekend and I am looking for somewhere to stay for 3 people, it has to be cheap and clean. Any ideas?

Thanks

Clarion Inn right by Presque Isle.  If they still have the deal going, you can make your reservation online more than 3 days out from your stay, it's a pretty nice discount (dont' bother calling for that rate though, as it's only online).  Buddy of mine and our 2 boys stayed there a few weeks ago for $54.  Regular rate is around $75.  Nice breakfast for an additional $5.  Indoor pool and hot tub.

If you want a clean dive, the Riviera just down the street.  Not fancy by any means, but cheap and clean.

Thanks, I've stayed at the Rivera before but my gf and I had an issue where the floor leaked after showering and the carpet got wet, but was considering there, but didn't think of the Clarion in.  Oh and we've at a campground too and had no issues but were just looking for a hotel/motel.  Thanks though.

Does anyone know of any cabins/lodges where I could stay with my wife and young kids? Wife agreed to come up for a few days and spend time in a lodge/cabin type setting that has a fireplace for a few days so that I can get my fishing fix in. Any recommendations appreciated.
    Thanks

No fireplaces & no guarantee that the cabin you book will be the cabin you stay in either.

Agreed don't get me wrong, I've stayed in cabins there and even stayed in a tent and have nothing but GREAT things to say about the people I've encountered and Uncle John and his staff, but we didn't get the exact # cabin we reserved which hey things happen even though it was the same style and wasn't a different one I could have cared less, the place was as clean as it can be for a cabin and I actually broke a sweat in early January in Erie because the heat works well lol.  I just was trying to avoid a cabin this trip though because of taking a 3rd person along more than likely and having to jam more stuff into the vehicle.

Thanks guys but I am looking for something more cozy for the fam to spend time in while I am fishing.
I found a few at $150 a night which isn't too bad, but I was hoping to stay at 100 or below.
If you see anything like that, feel free to share. Thanks
