DT or WF?

Was planning on getting Rio Mainstream for steelhead on my 7wt, was curious as to what I should go with in terms of taper. I may use this rod for carp and bass this summer, so I was thinking I may be making longer casts and should go with the WF because of that. Just wanted to know others opinions. I know you don't need it for Erie, but for the bass and carp longer casts may be important.

Yeah. I'd go with the WF line. Maybe in an 8 too to help load the rod a bit more and help to turn over bigger bass flies and heavy carp flies.

    WF would say wf.
    DT would say dt.
If you need to shoot line often, go with WF's suggestion.
