10/23/13

Well went up and got wet.   My reprots is not as good as TB's, but I did OK today.   Got a couple of kings a ho and a steel.

and my pride and joy first steel of the year.   Not a big one ,  but he put on an flight show for sure.

Fish were really hitting good today we set up right below at least 20 pairs of spawning kings.   Would have thought more steel with the # of eggs in play.   was 1 for 3 on steel.
 Had salmon hit the little blue wire bodied fly and blue eggs.   Steel hit steelhead hammer in Orange and also the blue egg.    Can I say again these some of these fish are HUGE.   I could barely pick that male up.

    Clint still looks like a good day. I fished all day Saturday and drove 3 hours each way for one tug on the line. But I did touch a trout a small brown about 12" was stuck in a puddle I picked it up and put him in the river. Going the fish gods will help me out for my good deed.

    Clint I hit fish on everything from cheese globugs to 4 inch intruders
    Pink and white were consistently good.

    I'm delayed til Sunday.... I'll be chomping at the bit. Great stuff , Clint. Need sunglasses for that one.  I bet it went airborne.
