There is a piebald doe near my home here in WV that has made it three seasons that I know of.  We see it every time we go to morgantown in the evenings, pretty much the same field. never have seen it with any fawns, but it is always hanging out with a few doe.

    Odds are:
    1. 1 in 5 (according to the photo)
    2. very likely it will get shot this year
    3. the deer are in a fence (judging by the photo)

Jokes aside, every couple years I hear of (from close friends that are trustworthy) or see an albino or pie-bald. But the odds of it happening have to be small, still cool none the less

Am 66 now and been huntin Deer for a long time in a lot of places in the East- Have seen one white and two pie bald in all that time.
Passed what I thought was a white goat in a Ct Sate forest long ago in shotgun season as it bounded through the laurel real quick- then heard bout the pure white deer known to be there- got hit by a car a few days later had never seen a pure white before that or since.
Sat in a tree in Sullivan Cty Ny one time trying to turn a piebald doe into a buck as it hung around in front of me during buck season lol. Was makin me nuts.
Sat in the car on the way to the Vets with a Lab in Ct one day and watched a doe and normal fawn and the pie bald fawn for a long time hanging around in a swamp by the road.
Frankly at this point I likely would pass one. Kinda like the thought of them being out there.

We have two here in southern Allegheny County. One in Pleasant Hills, the other in Lincoln Borough. I have seen the Pleasant Hills one 3 times......In the full moon they seem to glow.

They were traveling along that fence line but not fenced in. However that area is now under construction, deer sighting are way down for now. Hopefully once the big equipment leaves they'll come back.

There's an albino doe that lives here in the ANF in Marienville. I see her once or twice a week. THe locals say that she is at least 4 years old.

When I was a kid living at home, every year there was an albino or a piebald in the farm above the house. It would get shot and a new one would show up the next year. There must have been a lot of recessive genetics in that gene pool. lol. I haven't seen one up there for about 15 years now.

Odds are...pretty good that I got an albino fawn on camera from one of the properties that I hunt.  We got a handful of pictures of it for about 2 weeks, then never saw the fawn again.  My guess is that it wound up as a snack for a coyote.
