Saturday 10/19

Good ol suicide trip today left at 3 the shortly after 6 hit the LFZ. Only one taker before 8:00am. Lots of dead salmon and zombies around. Started throwing some egg sucking leaches, stone flies wolly buggers egg patterns anything to hopefully have some trout play but no luck. Not even too much action below the bridge. Checked out a few other spots with the same results. People had fish but they were in the rapids 6' poles looked like broom sticks. Not my kind of fishing but to each his own.

Ellis had the most people the place was packed. Got to spend a day on the water with my dad and my son great time but not good fishing. Picked up some more tieing supplies from All Seasons time to start tieing to get boxes full again.

Short report but but time for bed for me.

Time spent on unproductive water eventually pays off... at least you got out with family...nothing better than that

All Seasons is a great toy store. I love their tying supplies. Malindas has some nice stuff, too. Thanks for the report, Wayne. Like Dime said- family time is money in the bank. One of these days we got to get a trip going.
I caught some nice smallies down from the Block House in Stillwater,  Sat.  while you were out on the SR . I was wishing they were steel.
