Am BACK

This is retired guy with a new logo--r2g2

First- thanks for all the kind words when I signed off at moving time- very much appreciated guys.
Second- was an experience trying to get back on-system had me going in circles- lol . Sent an e-mail to fish USA and got a nice response the next day - THANKS USA.
Third- Fishing report from the end of last week--
It was GREAT- Did yard work -leaves and mowing all day Wed and fished  Thurs and then Fri  AM. Fish cooperated when you could find some unmolested ( biggest hurdle).
The circus is most certainly in town. After some long sits watching  I am convinced that at least 90% ,if not more, are confirmed liners and lifters. Not joking.
Clints  recent post about FISHING  in a feeder and the liners moving in was the norm for my experience on the main river. Seems they feel if you haven't hooked up in  a few passes its their turn.
Fish were spread throughout the river and moving to some degree pretty much all of both days. Tried to find pockets with decent tail outs where some active fish would come- it worked occasionally when they weren't chased into the pockets but came naturally.
All the expected rudeness and slobbery is commonplace but when ignored its  still a great place to be lol. Didn't preach of try and change anybodys way of fishing and did meet some nice decent folk-even if hey were snaggers .
HEY----SR FIRST- saw a guy with the 6ft white rod heavy line and closed face reel fishing BAREFOOT.
Cant wait to get back up  for more leaves and some fishing- and for the Circus to go home- next August cant come soon enough -lol.

Hey welcome back r2g2, you really need to write or PASTE your password somewhere so's not to get lost again ..lol
Please don't push us ahead so fast, we need a good 4 months of solid ICE before I even think about salmon again. Even then the only reason I would think about those silly fish is to hang with Jack and make fun of all those guys with leaping salmon hooked.. If I never catch another river salmon it would be no sweat off my back but I know how much you guys like them so , let them come, then GO !!

I myself got pretty lost yesterday.. Had a big 50 bday party (bro-in-laws) sat night and was riding the couch pretty hard all day before the graveyard shift last night..

So I will wrap all my thoughts of your guys post into 1 here..
GREAT JOB to everyone of you folks that went fishing.. Sounds like everyone had fun , some wet waders, tugs on the line and remained sane .. Again GREAT reads by all..
Clave, is just that, a place to meet and share the passion of fishing.. No special invites needed and all are welcome..
    My only shots are Fri's & Sat's Oct 18-19 , Nov 1-2 or
Thurs-fri  Nov-7-8.. Cannons place is a pretty good spot..
If any of those work then lets make a plan to put some chromers in the net..

Be well to all and hope to see folks soon..
    Peace & Tuna

Happy b-day Tuna- gee= thinkkkk I  recall 50. Matter of fact went to the Sound that day and cleaned up on Blues and Stripers =came home to a yard full of folks and a pig roast.
Hey--as a NEW member cannot respond to the nice PMs=  as time goes on  will have enough 'seniority' to participate.
      Clint- thanks for the tip.
