small shank sbs

I tie shanks on hair pins

squeeze it to make an eye

give it an up turn eye and take a blurry pic of it

put the pin in the vice backwards and make a thread bump and whip it off to keep the 2 legs together

flip shank around and start thread

here's where i'm goofy.  I turn the rotary 90 degrees away from me and tighten it down

this is what I use to hold the hook

fold it in half and tie it in

wrap the whole way up the shank then fold the beadlon back and wrap back

tie in a piece of bunny (take another blurry pic)

tie in some sparkly root beer colored stuff

tie in a feather by the tip

wrap root beer and feather forward

pull bunny forward

tie in rubber legs on either side and take horrible picture of it

tie in bead chain eyes.  make thread kinda heavy (like a small red egg)

cut a clump of deer hair and make 2 loose wraps around it

spin it and whip her off

fly before the clip

cut the extra shank off

final fly with out a hook.  I normally use the gama drop shot hooks but im all out now

I'm no pro, im not even good, but this is how I do it.  hope you guys like it and hope it gets you into some chrome or small jaw's

nice fly, but too much work for me to go after those genetically-engineered, non-native slimers...I mean those real screamin' chrome bullets!
