It was a nice article Sam. I look at the kayakanglers forum often. They have a few kayak bass tournaments during the year. I haven't tried one yet but hopefully will next year.  I actually took my kayak out on the Yough lake on Saturday evening and caught a monster crappie off of a fallen tree in about 20 feet of water.  Fought like crazy.

How big was the monster? Just curious.

    slabdaddy,
I wish I could say with some certainty but I would estimate 11-12" based on my memory. With that being said, I didn't measure and really didn't even try to estimate its length at the time.  But it was solid.  When I set the hook I actually thought I hooked a catfish. It really didn't want to surface.
