Black yote back from taxi

I shot this 31# female black coyote this past January and have been waiting on pins and needles for the call from the taxidermist. I have seen some pretty bad mounts and some really good mounts and was anxious to see how she turned out. 

I asked for a trotting pose with the ears at mid point as this coyote was taken off of a drive and she had them ears swiveling forward and hard to the rear as she headed my way. Plus I never really like the hard erect ears that many coyote mounts have.
 
Here she is the day I shot her. A day I will never forget as this fulfilled a long quest of mine to shoot a coyote, then to shoot a black one on top of getting my first.

    Wow. That is very impressive! I'm no taxidermist expert, but I'd say yours did a fine job.

    I like the mount but not too keen on the base. You could dress that up yourself if you wanted to. Not many black yotes around.

    Gene,
    Looks good, although the pictures probably don't do it any justice.
     I would however suggest you make or get someone to make a glass cover for it. Being she has black fur any dust she gets will show up rather quickly.

    I gently vacume my Bear on occasion to take care of any dust or whatever may try and adhere to it. Kinda always try and go in the natural direction of the hair. Just dont get all rough with it if you chose that method. No hair loss after a number of years.
