anybody out there?

just got a 9' MH berkley glow stick and diawa emcast salt water spinning reel and i wanna try it out. any body doin any cat fishing this time of year? are they real deep this time of year? let me know. thanks

    Hi FishinGuy.
    Not yet, BUT, getting some new gear this year, reel for sure, maybe a pole and ready to go.
    I go after cats at the Elk Creek mouth here in Girard Pa., around mid-May. Depends on the warm rains,etc.
    Tight line / hang on in 2008!!

    we fish all year round, except for deer season, been out every weekend. i live in central PA, so a good place we've found is shawville. where do you live? if its close, give me a yell. i use a 6 1/2 ft. zebco rhino rod with a penn captiva 4000 baitrunner reel.

    the early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
