1800

Wow 1800 tomorrow with the big rains coming.   I have not been up to the res in a while, but it must be full

We here in New York have been well above average rainfall so far. Any concerns about drought should be answered with the release.
I only wish some adk streams ( ausable, saranac) or my hometown rivers such as , Hudson, Mohawk , would catch a break and clear up so I can chase those eyes . Impoundments are the only option at this point

Stop the rain dance already Jack , please !!!

3 weeks and you get a month off HT.
Seems every year we are ahead of average for the year and don't see a drop again until mid Aug.
Draught years the Aug rains don;t come.

Havent seen the res myself but it must be in good shape. Some pounding rains have been coming through in isolation for some time. I noticed it looked high in town the other day. I think its a good thing as long as they dont suck it dry. Only problem i have with it is it ruined my smallmouth plans last evening and for the weekend most likely...

Even though I know in 3 weeks it turns into the Sahara around here I am taking no chances.
I on my way to the garage to find out if I have enough recycled 2by4s and plywood for my ark.
What's the deal with it never just raining anymore, does it always have to pour.
