6 hook Sabiki rigs, are they legal to use?
Specifically, the 6 hook rigs commonly sold. Since PA law limits an angler to 3 hooks per line/rod, wouldn't the 6 hook rigs be illegal? I'd assume that cutting them in half and thus only using 3 would be within the law.
Just don't want to get jammed up, or see someone else do the same, if it is illegal to use the 6 hook rigs.
Am I on track or is there something I'm missing?

it's unlawful, you will have to break the rig in two.

TBL is right, just cut them in two but make sure you leave yourself enough line to tie it off again...

We cut them in three....two sabiki's and a normal hook hanging from a torpedo sinker on the bottom. That bottom hook gets plenty of action.

Slab, I used to run the third hook off the bottom of the sinker when I used crappie rigs. The torpedo sinkers have an eye on both ends, you just loop the snell through the bottom eye...
