acoe tailraces

Anybody been fishing the local reservoir outflows for anything other than trout? I have a little time to fish tomorrow and the Allegheny looks a bit high for my liking.

    If you have a smartphone check out the river watch app, it runs on Android and I'm not sure if there's an iPhone app equal to it or if they support iPhone.
     
    Also here's a nifty link that projects a forecast for outflow discharge in CFS.  If you need any info on what the numbers look like in terms of conditions and color I can tell you for atleast Conemaugh, Loyalhanna, and Crooked Creek.

    Planned on fishing Conemaugh tomorrow, until they jacked the flow way up...

    Yeah fishrmn that's where I was planning on heading yesterday. But they upped the water and it was windier than I thought it was supposed to be. I didn't go out.

    Checking steam flow data is the first thing I do before I decide to fish any moving water. Invaluable resource there. I was just wondering if anybody had been catching anything lately or if it was still a little too early.
